Fall 2019: Fashion & Beauty Favorites

Hey there!

Today, I am writing a little about some of my current favorite items! Most of these items are great at any time of the year, but it just seemed fitting to post about them as the fall season is coming to a close. Take a look and let me know what you think!

SGX NYC Clean Slate Dry Shampoo

This dry shampoo is my favorite that I have ever used. Not only does it feel lightweight and clean, it smells amazing! ALL of their products have such a fresh scent. I absolutely love using this dry shampoo before I sport second day hair.

Acure Shampoo and Conditioner

I have been trying to slowly add more natural products into my routine, and with how dry and fragile my hair has been lately, I tried to find shampoo and conditioner that would not further dry it out. I decided to give Acure a try! I found these bottles for $5.99 each at TJ Maxx, so it seemed as good a time as any to go for it. I have found that these products do not cause my hair to appear as greasy on my off-days since they are not over drying my hair and and causing more oil production. Plus, they smell SO good!

DONNA Blue Light Blocking Glasses

I don’t know if you’re like me and find yourself glued to a screen for obscene amounts of time each day, but if you are, you might want to consider blue light blocking glasses! I asked for a pair for Christmas last year, and with how often I am looking at a screen, they have been so helpful. The pair that I have been wearing lately are from the brand, DONNA, found on Amazon. Being a full-time student, I am constantly using my phone or computer to do homework and study, or even sit here in Starbucks and write the majority of this blog post. I find my eyes feel strained and sore after looking at a screen for a long period of time, and this feeling usually leads to excruciating headaches. I have noticed that when I wear these glasses, I can look at a screen for much longer of a time before feeling tired or experiencing headaches. I love the pair that I have, but there are so many brands and styles out there to choose from! I am DEFINITELY a fan of these glasses.

Loafers

I am really loving loafers right now! I loved them last season too, but they are worth the praise yet again. They are comfortable, versatile, and practical. This black pair is actually from last season by the Target brand, A New Day (A.N.D.). They are super cute with slim black pants OR jeans!

This second pair is from Time & True at Walmart. They have memory foam soles that are so comfortable, and they look adorable with skinny jeans and a solid top!

Sperry Saltwater Rain Boots

I received these boots as a gift for my SEVENTEENTH birthday (and I just celebrated my twenty-second)! They have lasted this long and continue to be one of my favorite items in the cold months. They are definitely worth the splurge considering their durability and warmth. There are also many other brands that make boots like these in similar and completely different styles! I absolutely love chunky socks with them—so cute!
