Small Business Saturday | Shopping Local in Branson, MO

Hi, friends!

This year more than in years past, I am being far more intentional in my efforts to shop my local stores and businesses. I have rounded up where I’ll be headed for my holiday shopping in Branson this season to help you plan ahead too!

Keep reading to find out where I’ll be spending Small Business Saturday 2021:

417 Vintage Market

If you know me, you know this store is a favorite of mine. For home decor, unique trinkets, and even vintage clothing, this is a place I frequent. I’ll definitely be paying 417 Vintage Market a visit this season!

Here’s a recent post featuring some of the Christmas magic in their shop:

They’ve also recently expanded their store and added an adorable coffee shop to the fun, which is so convenient if you’re planning to spend the day chipping away at your Christmas shopping list.

The Crystal Fish

The Crystal Fish at the north end of the Branson Landing is one of the most unique stores I’ve ever been to. They feature so many handcrafted pieces, and they’re always adding new items that I see nowhere else. Click over to their website and follow them on Facebook to stay in the loop on all they offer!

Seasons @ Home

With TWO beautiful locations, Seasons @ Home is a top choice of mine for home goods and decor. With one at the Tanger Outlets and the other at the Branson Landing, you really can’t go wrong with either. Take a look below at their beautiful stores:

Mark Ashton

A favorite of mine since college, I love to stop in Mark Ashton any chance I get! The business has recently changed ownership, and in my personal opinion, the selection of items in the store is even better than before.

Also—THEY HAVE A CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE STORE?!

FREEBIRD & Co.

Last on my list but most certainly not the last of great locally-owned shops, FREEBIRD & Co. is a boutique located in downtown Branson. Not only am I a fan specifically of their sweater selection in the cool seasons, I LOVE their men’s fragrances, soaps, and other toiletries. Their shop is filled with great gifts for the guys in your life, so you’ll definitely want to stop in while downtown!

Downing Apparel

If you have a vintage clothing and accessories lover in your life—or you, yourself are on the hunt for great vintage pieces—Downing Apparel is a must. A curation of pieces from all eras, Downing Apparel is located in downtown Hollister, MO. It’s such a fun shop, and you can tell that so much thought is put into the experience they strive to create for their customers. Take a look at their Facebook and Instagram to get a peek!

That’s a wrap for just a few of the small businesses I’ll be shopping this holiday season—and especially for 2021 Small Business Saturday! The pandemic absolutely highlighted the need to shop and do business with our local entrepreneurs and innovators who rely on the support of their communities. I truly want to make an effort to support these hardworking individuals right here at home.

So if you plan to spend any of this Christmas season in Branson, you now have some ideas of where to go for small business shopping. 🙂

Until next time,
Annie Lark
