Graduation (Or Any Occasion) Outfit Ideas!

I love dresses.

I love dresses for special occasions. I love dresses for date nights.
I love dresses for church on Sunday morning. I love dresses for regular old boring weekdays.

So today, with graduation right around the corner, I want to talk about some of my favorite places to shop for classy, cute, and comfortable dresses, jumpsuits, and rompers! I’ve put on some of my own dresses from these stores and also linked some of my current favorites from each!

While I am only a junior, and some of you reading may not be approaching graduation at all, I hope this post gives you some ideas of great places to shop for dresses for any occasion!

New York & Company

New York & Company is one that I have begun to frequent within the past couple of years since wandering into their Fayetteville location with my mom one day to find the cutest $10 dresses! (This actually happened to be during an excellent sale they had going on at the time 😉 )

Since then, I like to check their local outlet store when I am in search of a dress or, well, anything! Here are a few outfit options that are ALL currently on sale from New York & Company!

Also, note that NY&Co. is a great place to frequent for their sales. It seems like they are often running them online and in their stores. And if you happen to live near an outlet, definitely stop in!

Lauren James

Lauren James is an apparel company that actually began in my area! Their clothes totally encompass southern charm and elegance, and they are all about seersucker! Their clothing is great quality and always the prettiest colors and styles.

This company is one that I typically would wait for sales to shop at (especially their warehouse sales in Fayetteville!!!!) since their apparel is a little out of my typical price range. Nevertheless, I love all of their designs. Oh, and their Instagram aesthetic is perfect.

Here are a few of my favorite current items from Lauren James:

Versona

Versona is a store that I have really enjoyed shopping in since one opened in my area. It is a unique store atmosphere, and the clothing is high quality and stylish but can also be very affordable!

They sell apparel, accessories, and jewelry for great prices, and I have always been pleased with my purchases from Versona—especially when they’re sale purchases!
