One Top, Three Styles

Good morning!

Recently, I picked up this simple tee from H&M for $4.99. It is probably one of the most comfortable items of clothing I own, and I got to thinking about how it’s a very versatile item for my closet!

So I went through my clothes and started brainstorming ways to make the most of this cute tee, and I came up with three different ways to wear it that would be fitting for three different settings!

Running Around on a Weekend

I love a cute, casual, and comfortable outfit for a Saturday spent just running around. And with the arrival of summer, I love a good pair of sandals too! So for this look, I paired the tee with some cute platform sandals and a distressed mini-skirt!

These adorable and comfy sandals are from Belk, and they are currently on SALE! This skirt was also purchased from TJ Maxx, so I have found some similar ones and linked them below.

I love a good denim skirt, especially one as comfortable as this one! I would also put with this outfit some simple flat sandals for a look more conducive to a day spent on foot. 😉

Business Casual

For this look, I paired the tee with some simple black “jogger” slacks and black heels. I think the tee and pants work well together since the fit of the slacks is more relaxed, and they can be worn more casually.

These pants were purchased from TJ Maxx, but I have linked some similar styles below. The heels are from the brand, Merona, from Target. I also found some similar styles as these since my heels are from last season.

Date Night

For this look, I put this tee with some black, ripped-knee jeans (that I actually cut myself!) and the same espadrilles sandals from above! This outfit is a great one for a casual dinner-and-a-movie kinda date that you still wanna feel cute for, ya know? This outfit could also be matched with a denim jacket in case it happens to get a little chilly in the evening—like it has been these past few days in Northwest Arkansas!

The jeans that I am wearing for this look were purchased from Wal-Mart for about $7. I then took some scissors to them, and they have been my go-to pants for just about any fall or winter outfit, and they even make a few appearances in the spring and summer months! (I have since then collected a few more pairs of jeans that look, well, exactly like these. I’m obsessed with black jeans!) Once the summer heat is in full swing, I’ll probably have to ditch pants altogether, though! I think this look would be super cute with a chunky statement belt to bring some excitement to the look!

That’s all I have for today! I hope you’ve enjoyed looking through three of the ways I style this $5 H&M top, and that it’s gotten you thinking about how you could mix up the items you have in your closet to make the most of each one!

Until next time,
Annie Lark
